Audiphone Company of Akron is pleased to provide House Calls for Audiology and Hearing Aid Services throughout Akron, Summit County and Medina County. During this home visiting ear care appointment, our licensed Audiologist (hearing specialist) can:
- Evaluate a client's need for hearing aids
- Fit hearing aids
- Adjust hearing aids
- Update hearing aids
- Perform hearing tests
- Provide general ear care in your home.
When providing a House Call or Home Visit our Audiologist will carry with them all the equipment necessary to provide hearing testing and hearing aid evaluation in a client's home. We can dispense hearing aids and provide the most modern, comfortable, and cost effective hearing devices available.
When a loved one is unable to go outside of their home, they need to have someone come in and take care of their needs. We provide the most extensive home visits in the area, whether that home be a private residence, nursing home or assistive living facility. This is a great convenience not only for the client, but their families as well. Please call our office to make this advance appointment. Certain charges will apply, please inquire when you schedule.
A home visit from our Audiologist to evaluate you for hearing aids will require an average of three home visits.
- We will test your hearing and measure your ear for hearing aids.
- We will return to dispense the hearing aid and perform an initial programming and adjustment.
- The third home visit to perform a final adjustment and ensure optimal hearing aid function.
