AUDIPHONE IN THE COMMUNITY
Throughout Audiphone's 75 years in business, an important key to our success has been our
long standing dedication to providing education about hearing loss to the community.
Audiphone is also committed to providing our Hearing Health Care Services to those unable
to travel to our office.
- Frank Mikolay, Social
Services Director, Rockynol Retirement Center:
"Audiphone has had a significant presence at Rockynol for
nearly 20 years. Our residents appreciate the prompt, reliable
and professional services they receive in the comfort of
our facility".
- Debbie Grey, President
Hearing Loss Assoc. of America, Summit County Chapter:
"Inese has been instrumental in the launching of this valuable
group for the hearing impaired of Akron. She has been a
guest lecturer twice, and Audiphone has financed CART services
for our meetings. CART provides visual translation of our
meetings for those with severe-profound hearing impairments".
- Mark Murphy, Meeting
Chair, Rotary Club of Hudson:
"Inese has presented several programs to our group. The
most recent was on the effects of noise on hearing. Inese's
Power Point Program explained how occupational, recreational
and everyday noise can cause permanent hearing loss".
- Bobbie DeKemper, President
of HASA (Home and School Association) St. Sebastian:
"Children are exposed to dangerous noise levels through
toys, iPods and loud rock concerts. In March, Inese and
Lynn will come to our school to educate our parents and
teachers on hearing loss in children".
