Founded in 1933, Audiphone Company is Akron’s most experienced Hearing HealthCare Center specializing in the diagnosis of hearing loss and it's treatment. 2008 brings us to our 75th year in business. For three quarters of a century we have been improving the lives of Akron's hearing impaired, and we look forward to continuing this tradition long into the future.


HIGH TECH IN LOW KEY SURROUNDINGS

In 75 years a lot changes. We now use state of the art technology when testing hearing and fitting hearing aids. At our easy to access ground level office, you can get comprehensive hearing tests and hearing aid fittings, repairs, warranties, batteries along with a wide variety of accessories. We offer products in a spacious environment that's off the beaten track. We are located in a one floor brick building on a small street, away from crowds and traffic. It is easy to relax in our pastel colored, air and roomy office rooms.


HOME SWEET HOME

Doctors used to make home visits, and we still do. We provide prompt and reasonably priced Home Visits to wherever home may be - your house, a nursing home or an assisted-living residence. This is a great convenience to those who can't get around easily and would otherwise not be able to get help for hearing loss. Just about everyone prefers to receive service where they feel best, at home. Audiphone Company lets this happen.


WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?

Doctors and their staff can ask for one of our Luncheon seminars to learn about Hearing HealthCare with Continuing Medical Educational Credits, not to mention a good lunch. These seminars are packed with useful information presented in a pleasing, easy to understand manner, and help both Doctor and Patient make informed decisions about hearing loss options.


The staff at independent, assisted-living and nursing home facilities can benefit from our free in-service programs. We come out to your facility and give patients hearing tests and hearing aid checks. We also offer residents presentations on Hearing Loss and Hearing Aids. Here you can learn about the power of noise and what it can do to your hearing, changes and updates in the hearing loss field, what works, what doesn't and why. We do not believe in slick advertising, gimmicks or sales pressure to sell hearing loss products. We are here to provide helpful information, advice, recommendations and hearing loss equipment at low reasonable prices. Our bottom line is to give area hearing impaired people a better life by improving their hearing.
